Ian Middleton is an experienced travel writer and photographer based out of southern England. He is the author of several travel books, including Hot-Footing around the Emerald Isle, To the End of the World and Back: A Millennium Adventure and Down Mexico Way. Ian also writes for Mysterious World, Backpacker World, Walking World Ireland in Dublin and Take Your Car UK. Ian's interests include traveling, comedy, music and hunting for leprechauns.

Doug Elwell is the publisher of Mysterious World, an online journal dedicated to travel, history and ancient mysteries of the world. Doug possesses masters degrees in both Old Testament Biblical Studies/Ancient Near Eastern History and Marketing Communications, and has worked in the fields of graphic design, web design and publishing since 1993.
